| As our NSRL Researcher I, you'll participate in the execution of the Footwear & Equipment division research agendas, develop new procedures and methods to improve efficiency and perform product performance research aimed at increasing understanding of customer needs and activity requirements to develop technologically innovative Footwear and Equipment products that are globally relevant. You'll also be a full time member of the Footwear-Equipment Product Creation Process, interact with Senior Researchers and Product Analysts in all phases of research to provide holistic evaluation of products and participate in the development of new tools, methods and procedures, including both hardware and software, streamline data acquisition, process and analysis. You'll become the resident expert for Footwear-Equipment related research tools used by the Nike Sport Research Lab staff. In addition, you'll support the Corporate Communication by giving lab tours, demonstrating Nike commitment to product performance research through presentations at scientific meetings, clinics and conferences and publication in scientific journals.
Requirements for the position include:
* Master's degree in Biomechanics or a related degree, including Human Factors, Engineering, or Ergonomics or a Bachelor's degree in the area of research or a related science degree with 2 years' experience in research * Experience with the tools used to collect biomechanical and ergonomics data * Strong communication skills * Demonstrated ability to function as a team * Knowledge of Footwear and Equipment product creation processes is a plus
