Job description
Locomotor and sensori-motor recovery of the transected spinal cord injury after grafting of Neurogel(R), associated with injection of progesterone and erythropoietin: a multifactorial and sequential approach. The functional recovery will be assessed by: i) measuring locomotor activity using BBB score and ladder climbing; ii) quantifying metabosensitivity, proprioception, H reflex and motor function with a SimiMotion software and electrophysiological tools; iii) imaging of immunostained sections of the spinal cord. The position will last one year. The net monthly salary ranges from 1600 to 1800 euro.

Expertise required
Spinal cord surgery, post-operative animal care and behavioral assessment.
